When it comes to healthy eating for children, education doesn’t only have to take place in schools. Every year, Junior Chefs’ Academy delivers workshops for a wide range of voluntary and community groups and takes part in festivals, shows and other special events.
During the school summer holidays, we visit many summer schools and youth schemes, delivering food education workshops and promoting recipes that encourage healthy eating for children. We can tailor our sessions for particular groups and we also make an engaging addition to any food fair or public event, creating a fun and interactive experience that children of all ages can enjoy.
Community events – examples:
- Holiday / summer school classes
- Live demonstrations
- Parent and child sessions
- Family sessions
- Surestart activities
